Santa Fe Arts Technology Secures $3M to Expand Creative AI Platform Nationwide
SANTA FE, NM — June 16, 2025 —
Santa Fe Arts Technology, a New Mexico-based technology company bridging the gap between creative industries and cutting-edge software, announced today it has closed a $3 million seed funding round led by Southwest Venture Partners, with participation from Adobe Ventures and several angel investors in the arts and technology sectors.
The capital will accelerate development of the company's flagship platform, ArtEngine, which uses artificial intelligence to help independent artists, galleries, and cultural institutions manage digital collections, automate licensing workflows, and connect with buyers in global markets. The company plans to use the funding to expand its engineering team, grow sales operations, and launch in five new markets by the end of 2025.
"This investment validates what we have believed since day one — that artists deserve sophisticated technology built specifically for their needs," said CEO Maria Castellano. "Santa Fe is one of the most vibrant creative economies in the country, and we are proud to build tools here that serve creators everywhere."
Founded in 2021, Santa Fe Arts Technology currently serves more than 400 galleries and 2,000 individual artists across the Southwest. The company reported 180 percent year-over-year revenue growth in 2024 and expects to reach profitability by the third quarter of 2026.
Southwest Venture Partners Managing Director David Reyes said the firm was drawn to the company's demonstrated traction and the largely untapped intersection of creative commerce and enterprise software.
