No. You don't need to be an It's Buzzing customer to earn referral rewards. Anyone who connects a business to the platform earns the reward when that business signs up.
Who counts as a qualifying business? ⌄
Any local business — HVAC companies, restaurants, salons, contractors, gyms, real estate agents, churches, chiropractors, photographers, and more. If they serve local customers and want more referrals, they qualify.
How do I track my referrals? ⌄
Once you sign up as an ambassador, you get access to a real-time dashboard showing every click, signup, and earned reward from your referral link.
When do I get paid? ⌄
Rewards are issued after two conditions are met: (1) the referred business starts an active paid subscription, and (2) a 35-day clearance period passes to account for any charge disputes or refunds. Most rewards clear within 5–6 weeks of the business signing up. You can track where each referral stands in your ambassador dashboard — and you'll get a notification the moment a reward is cleared and ready.
